Costs incurred at the time of purchase and during ownership

  • Registration costs (registration license tax, judicial scrivener fees, etc.)
  • Fire insurance premium (optional if purchasing with cash)
  • Stamp Duty
  • Loan administration fee
  • Brokerage fee (only when purchasing a property through a broker)
  • Real estate acquisition tax

 

In possession

  • [In the case of condominium ownership] Management fee + repair reserve fund / monthly
  • Rental management commission fee / monthly (not required if managing independently)
  • Fixed asset tax + city planning tax / annually

 

At the time of sale

  • Registration fee (cancellation)
  • Lump sum prepayment fee (if you have a loan)
  • Brokerage fee
  • Transfer tax (if income is generated)
